Ryan Clifford and
Jenny Bellefleur led the way with first-place finishes for Mansfield Track & Field at the Highlander Invitational Friday afternoon.

The Mountaineers got off to a fast start when
Ryan Clifford set a new PR and hit a PSAC mark in the men's 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:11.07. Clifford would begin what would be an overall strong outing for Mansfield, featuring some new faces near the top of the leader board.

Caden Fisher and
Nicholas Auchenbach continued to challenge each other in the men's 60-meter hurdles just as they did last week, finishing 4
th and 5
th with times of 8.88 and 8.91 respectively. Both hit PSAC marks and for the second straight week, finished within less than a second of one another.

Auchenbach also compiled a second place finish in the men's 300-meter dash with a time of 36.62, missing a new PR by only tenths of a second. Freshman
Mamadou Diallo followed Clifford and set a new PR with a time of 37.24.

Bellefleur continued her domination, compiling her fourth first-place finish of the year in the women's 300-meter dash. Her time of 43.27 set a new PR. She followed her performance in the 300-meter dash with an equally impressive time of 8.10 in the women's 60-meter dash.
Quincy Amabile registered the fastest mile time in the PSAC this indoor season at 4:25.17

Hailey Weidenhammer impressed in the women's 800-meter run, setting a new PR with a time of 2:41.50.

The Mountaineers will return to action on Jan. 25
th when they head to the Bison Open hosted by Bucknell University.
