MANSFIELD - Mansfield men's and women's cross country hosted Bloomsburg in the Mansfield Duals on Saturday morning at Lamb's Creek Cross Country Course.
Senior
Ryan Clifford led the Mountaineers and won the men's 7k race, covering the course in 22 minutes, 27 seconds. Clifford's time was good for a pace of 4:43 per mile. Junior
Quincy Amabile followed him for a second place finish with a time of 22 minutes, 53 seconds. Last week, these two also took the top two spots in the 4K race, helping to lead the team to a win at Bloomsburg.
Travis Keefe and
Jordan Holmes both crossed the line in under 25 minutes. Freshman
Ryan Morrissette rounded out the Mountaineers with a time of 25:22.00.
On the men's side, Mansfield had 33 points, while Bloomsburg had 25 points.
The women were led by sophomore
Lyndsey Payne who finished third. Payne smashed her PR from last November's ECAC Championship by nearly two minutes with a time of 19:27.00. Senior
Kenzie Jones took the fourth spot, coming in at 19:42.00.
Freshman Hailey Wiedenhammer rounded out the Mountaineers top 10 finishers, with a time of 22:01.00, which was good for ninth.
Rochelle Myers (22:45.00),
Ayla Rohl (23:39.00) and
Lauren Blechl (25:12.00) closed out the women's 5k.
