MANSFIELD – Despite Stephanie Moir's season and career-high nine saves, Shippensburg scored twice to secure the 2-0 victory over Mansfield Wednesday afternoon.
 
Casey Bell got the scoring started for Shippensburg (3-0, 2-0 PSAC) in the first half with her first goal of the season 34 minutes into the first half. Taylor Moore would seal the game for the Red Raiders in the 85^th minute with her third goal of the season.
 
Mansfield (0-3, 0-3 PSAC) had many chances to score, with senior forward Bria Bittiger leading the charge with four shots including one on goal. Mansfield put four shots on goal but could not get a shot past Shippensburg goal keeper Delaney Shifflett who finished the day with four saves.
 
Mansfield will return to action this Saturday, at Slippery Rock with the contest starting at 1 p.m.
