#9 Kutztown Tops Mountaineers

KUTZTOWN – No. 9 Kutztown triumphed over the visiting Mountaineers 3-0 in field hockey Tuesday evening at Andre Reed Stadium.

The game against PSAC opponents did not count toward the conference standings.

Rachel Dunsman scored in the first minute of the game to give Kutztown (6-1, 0-0 PSAC) an early advantage. Dunsman scored again in the second half followed by Kyra Wozniak's score to increase the Golden Bear lead.

Madison Wilinsky highlighted the Mountaineers' effort with a defensive save in the first half. Brittany Ryan matched her season-high in saves with 12.

Mansfield (4-3, 0-0 PSAC) hosts No. 5 Millersville on Saturday.
