KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Mansfield jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but Northwood used late runs to rally for a win Sunday night at Osceola Stadium.

Tyler Guidos pushed the first run of the game across in the bottom of the first inning by drawing a bases-loaded walk.
J.P. Bonanca made it 2-0 Mounties with his RBI triple to bring home
Spencer Zuraski in the second inning.

In the fifth inning, Mansfield (3-3, 0-0 PSAC) increased its lead to 4-0 with
Camren Ney driving in a run before
Owen Lukens scored on a passed ball.

Northwood (7-6, 0-0 GLVC) cut its deficit in half in the sixth inning then pulled within a run at 4-3 in the seventh. The Timberwolves plated three runs in the eighth inning to take their first lead of the game.

Mansfield was unable to regain the lead.

Ney went 2-4 at the plate with an RBI to lead the Mountaineers offensively.

Evan McAndrew tossed 6.1 innings with eight strikeouts and just one earned run. He did not issue any walks in his outing.

Max Bain earned the win in relief for Northwood pitching 3.2 innings. Lennon Gwizdala picked up the save.
