ITHACA, N.Y. – The Mansfield University track & field team competed at Cornell University's Deneault Invitational on Saturday in the final tune-up before the PSAC Indoor Championships next weekend.

Quanda Williams hit a season-best in the 400-meter run with her PSAC-qualifying time of 1:01.68. That result was good for an eighth place finish in the event.
Nicholas Auchenbach was seventh in the 400-meter run at 51.81.

Charlsie Bowen took fifth in the pole vault with her height of 3.50 meters.

Turning in a pair of season-best performances was
Bryce Steiner in the 200m and 400m. Steiner raced to a 24.84 in the 200m and a 54.15 in the 400m.

Quincy Amabile notched a PSAC time in the mile at 4:27.78 to finish 10
th in the field.
Kenzie Jones also had a conference time in the mile at 5:16.22 to finish fifth. The mile time was Jones' second best of her career, ending an incredible streak of 20 straight PRs across all events.

Travis Keefe hit a PR in the mile with his time of 4:45.77.
Lyndsey Payne and
Janelle Peachy each registered personal bests in the mile at 5:34.15 and 5:45.35 respectively.

Dylan Rhodes finished fourth and hit a personal best in the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:45.22.

Jenny Bellefleur took third in the 200-meter dash with a season-best of 26.55.

Mansfield travels to Edinboro University next weekend for the PSAC Championships.
