HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Jenny Bellefluer and
Charlsie Bowen hit PSAC marks to lead Mansfield track & field at Houghton's Highlander Invitational on Friday evening.

Jenny Bellefluer hit a personal best and registered a PSAC mark to win her heat in the 60-meter dash prelims with a time of 8.06. The junior followed that performance by turning in a time of 8.01 in finals to finish fourth overall in the event. It was the second fastest time in program history.

In the pole vault,
Charlsie Bowen cleared a season-best height of 3.55 meters to finish second overall at the meet. Bowen cleared her first two heights on the first attempt and cleared 3.55 meters on her third try. She improves her conference standing to fifth in the PSAC.
Erin Sheridan cleared 2.80 meters in her first collegiate meet.

Quanda Williams registered the eighth fastest 300-meter dash time in program history with her result of 44.11.

Purity Moenga was just shy of her personal best in the shot put with a throw of 9.38 meters to finish sixth. Moenga's best throw came in her second attempt.

Alexis Bittel finished fifth in the triple jump with her top distance of 10.23 meters. That jump was good for fifth on the all-time program list.

The women's distance medley relay team of
Lyndsey Payne,
Lauren Blechl,
Janelle Peachy, and
Kenzie Jones won the event with a time of 13:58.62. The men's DMR team of
Carson Ayers,
Dylan Rhodes, Jordan Cash, and Quincy Amiabile took second at 11:27.85.

Nicholas Auchenbach took home seventh in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:29.24. That was the eighth fastest time in program history, but just shy of a personal best for the junior.
Bryce Steiner ran a collegiate best in the 300-meter dash with a time of 39.09. That time was good for a 15th place finish in the event.
Tyler Olrogg ran his first collegiate 800-meter run and brought in a time of 2:10.18.
Eric Evans registered a time of 7.53 in his first collegiate 60-meter dash.

The Mountaineers are back in action next Saturday for Cornell's Robert J. Kane Invitational.
