Hunter Watkins took second in the javelin and
Nicholas Auchenbach was third in the 400-meter hurdles to lead Mansfield University track & field on the third and final day of the PSAC Championships at Bloomsburg University.

Watkins finished second in the javelin with his best throw of 63.91 meters in the freshman's first conference meet to earned All-PSAC honors. Watkins' best attempt came in the third and final throw of the preliminary round which stood as the top mark entering finals.

It marks the fourth time this season that Watkins has recorded an NCAA provisional mark in the javelin. Watkins' personal best of 64.14 meters currently stands as the 13
th best amongst NCAA Division II athletes and is the sixth-best mark from a freshman.

Auchenbach broke the Mansfield 400m hurdle record for the third time this season with his NCAA provisional time of 53.13 in finals to notch All-PSAC recognition. It's the second time in as many days that Auchenbach broke the school record after turning in a 53.49 in prelims. The top three places in the field were separated by just two tenths of a second.

Auchenbach's record time stands as a top-30 mark in the nation.

Sophomore
Kenzie Jones won her heat of the 1,500-meter run with a personal best time of 4:46.74 to place fifth overall in the field. She was less than two seconds shy of an All-PSAC performance in the event.

Jones' personal best in the 1,500m continues her incredible streak of 15 straight races with a PR.

Ryan Clifford finished 13
th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:28.83 after entering the race seeded 22
nd. The time was just five seconds off the sophomore's personal best.

The Mountaineer men finished 13
th with 15 team points and the women were 15
th with four team points. Shippensburg swept the men's and women's team titles.
