MILLERSVILLE –
Tyler Guidos allowed just one hit over the final 2.2 innings and
Eric Harms scored the eventual game-winning run in the top of the seventh as Mansfield upset No. 12 ranked and 2016 national runner-up Millersville in game two of a PSAC East doubleheader at Cooper Park on Saturday.

Millersville (17-7, 3-3 PSAC East) took the opener 5-1 as Eli Nabholz pitched a rare no-hitter with a run allowed.

Mansfield (12-12, 3-3 PSAC East) got a run on the board in the top of the first in game two when
Dio Infante reached with a walk and later scored on
Peter Pena's RBI single. Pena has been on an absolute tear throughout the first half of the season leading the Mountaineers in batting average (.371), slugging pct. (.586), hits (26), RBIs (21), doubles (6), and home runs (3).

The Marauders got on the board in the bottom of the third inning via Dan Neff's solo home run to left field.

Evan McAndrew threw a quality 4.1 innings on the mound, allowing just five hits and one earned run while striking out five batters.

Millersville threatened with two runners in scoring position with just one out in the bottom of the fifth, but Guidos came on in relief and shut down the threat to maintain the 1-1 tie.

In the top of the seventh, Harms hit a leadoff single to center and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. A wild pitch allowed Harms to reach third before scoring the go-ahead run on a passed ball. Millersville went down in order in the bottom of the frame as Mansfield earned the upset victory.

Guidos improved to 3-0 on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings with just one hit allowed and three strikeouts.

In the opener, Millersville scored a pair of runs in the third and three more in the sixth.

The Mountaineers' lone run came when
Brady Mengel plated
Ryan Paige in the top of the fifth.

Nabholz struck out six, allowed a walk, and hit two batters in the no-hitter to improve to 5-0 on the year.

Edwin Lopez was hit with the loss.

The win is the first for Mansfield over perennial power Millersville since splitting the four-game series during the 2013 season, snapping a 13-game losing streak.

The Mountaineers improved their conference record to 3-3 and are currently tied for third in the PSAC East along with Millersville.

The Mountaineers host Millersville at Shaute Field on Monday with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
