MANSFIELD – Abbey Korber broke Mansfield's scoreless streak with her first collegiate goal but the Mountaineers were unable to prevent Edinboro from securing a 4-1 victory.
 
Korber found the back of the net with 45 seconds left in the game after creating opportunities for the Mounties earlier in the match. Brought in on a corner kick and fielded by Chelsea Hough, Korber was able to use her head and put Mansfield (0-11-1, 0-11-1 PSAC) on the board.
 
The Fighting Scotts started the scoring in the first minute as Sarah Baskey scored her fourth goal of the season. Ashley Mutkus, Danielle Chatten, Rebecca Manns, and Brittany Hurey also scored for Edinboro (5-5-3, 4-5-3 PSAC).
 
The Mountaineers continue their stint on the road challenging #20 Gannon University this Wednesday at 3 p.m.
