MANSFIELD – Despite what could be the Mountaineer's best second half this season, Kutztown's early start would earn them the 6-0 victory at the MU Soccer Field.
Â
Alyssa Ryan would be the first to score for the Golden Bears less than a minute into play. Mansfield (0-10-1. 0-10-1 PSAC) held the nationally-ranked team to a three-point lead going into the half. Kutztown (13-0, 7-0 PSAC) would find the back of the net with six different scorers.
Â
The Mountaineers picked up the intensity late in the first half and continued to better themselves into the second. Both
Abbey Korber and
Eleni Gebbia would take multiple shots, each with one going on goal. Gebbia's beautiful shot was narrowly interrupted by the cross bar allowing goalie Imani Taylor to take possession.
Â
Freshman
Dana DiCamillo faced a season-high of 41 shots and made a personal best of 16 saves.

Women's Soccer is on the road this weekend to play Edinboro on Sunday at 1 p.m.
