MANSFIELD – Freshman
Meghan Griffin scored her first career goal for Mansfield, but nationally-ranked Bloomsburg was too much, earning a 4-1 win in the PSAC opener for both teams on Wednesday.
Â
No. 6 Bloomsburg (7-2, 1-0 PSAC) notched the first two goals of the game with Erica Krebs and Sam Peters scoring in the 12
th and 31

Â
In the second half, the Mountaineers'

Â
However, the Huskies increased their lead to 3-0 on Eleanor Kirby's unassisted goal minutes later.
Â
In the 48

Amber Prince penalty corner pass and placing in the top right area of the cage. It marks the second assist for Prince off a penalty corner this year.
Â
MacKenna Mahan and Sam Peters connected for Bloom's fourth goal of the game in the 59
th minute.
Â
In the 63
