CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –
Charlsie Bowen and
Kelsey Carlsen paced Mountaineer track and field at Saturday's Lou Onesty/Milton G. Abramson Invitational after registering a pair of NCAA provisional marks.
Â
Carlsen hit a season-best and an NCAA provisional mark to win the javelin with her best attempt of 42.32 meters. The senior's top throw came in her second attempt of finals.

Bowen also notched an NCAA provisional mark and matched her season-best by clearing 3.65 meters. Bowen cleared the height in her third and final attempt to finish second overall in the field.

Allison McCurry finished fifth and hit a PSAC mark in the 5,000-meter run with her personal best time of 18:32.68. The time bested her previous PR by six seconds.

Kelly Snyder (19:42.16),
Alexandria Gallagher (19:58.66),
Nicole Mackey (20:11.92) and
Sara Cavanagh (20:16.98) all hit PRs in the 5K.

Allison Macon took ninth overall in the 800-meter run with a PSAC-qualifying time of 2:19.68.
Molly Balliet (2:36.34) and
Ayla Rohl (2:52.80) each raced to personal bests in the 800m.

Savannah Buckley led the Mountaineer sprints and hit a PSAC mark in the 100-meter dash registering a personal best time of 12.74.

Rachel Hohenwarter's best attempt of 11.11 meters in the shot put hit a PSAC mark and was good for ninth overall.
Kyle Blose also hit a PSAC mark in the men's shot put with his top heave of 14.28 meters.

Nicholas Auchenbach registered a personal best and a PSAC-qualifying time in the 400-meter hurdles with his time of 56.16.

Jesse Jones finished eighth in the 5K with a time of 16:17.19 while
Ryan Clifford was ninth at 16:23.27.
Garrett Butters was 11
th at 16:37.24.

Mansfield travels to Bucknell next weekend for the Outdoor Classic.
