MANSFIELD – Mansfield's Under the Lights Invitational at Maxson Track was highlighted by several first-place finishes and personal bests Saturday night.

Prior to the start of the track events,

Allison Macon,
Maryann Personius,
Kelly Snyder,
Jordan Boothe,
Jesse Jones,
Joelsen Resimo,
Quashaun Jaquay Willis,
Molly Balliet,
Melanie Hilliard and
Katy Haywood were honored as part of the Mountaineer's senior day ceremony.

Rachel Hohenwarter led off the day by winning the shot put with a personal best heave of 11.9 meters. Her attempt ranks as the second best in program history and is the best mark since 1984 when Bobbi Jo Austin hit 12.61 meters.

Nicholas Auchenbach took first in the 400-meter dash and was the only athlete to hut a sub 50-second time at 49.83. The PSAC-qualifying time is the sixth fastest for a Mountaineer. The freshman also took sixth in the 200-meter dash at 22.95.

Savannah Buckley won the 100-meter dash with a personal best time of 12.56. The sophomore's time ranks fourth on the MU all-time list.

Quashaun Jaquay Willis continued to excel in the 800-meter, racing to a time of 1:58.24 to top the field.
Ben Drexler took seventh at 2:01.55.
Allison Macon took second in the women's 800m with a personal best time of 2:17.20 which ranks third in program history.

Mansfield took the top two spots in the pole vault with
Charlsie Bowen hitting a season PR of 3.70 meters for an NCAA Provisional mark.
Katy Haywood was second with her top attempt of 3.05 meters.

Baily Lutz hit an eight second personal best in the 1,500-meter in a second place effort at 4:15.35.
Shakim Blackwell was fifth at 4:23.5.
Lauren Orosz hit a PR in the 1,500m with her time of 5:08.04 to finish third. Kristen Anderson and
Sarah Morin took seventh and eighth respectively.

Allison McCurry won the steeplechase and hit a PSAC mark at 11:40.65.

Ryan Clifford and
Garrett Butters topped the men's steeplechase field with times of 1:10.66 and 10:19.87 respectively.

Kyle Blose took first in the men's shot put with a personal best of 15.10 meters. The throw ranks third on the MU all-time list. The sophomore also won the javelin with a PR of 52.76 meters. Blose's top throw is the sixth best in program history.

Kelsey Carlsen hit a season PR in the javelin with her best throw of 42.54 meters to easily win the event.

Joelsen Resimo took fifth in the 5,000-meter run at 16:31.51.

Kenzie Jones won the 10k in a close finish with her time of 39:21.18.
