YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mountaineer track and field registered several personal bests and PSAC qualifying times to highlight the Youngstown State National Invitational.

Allison Macon hit a big PR in the mile with a PSAC qualifying time of 5:08.22 to finish second overall in the field. The senior shaved nearly 20 seconds off her previous PR. Macon also hit a conference mark in the 800-meter run at 2:21.29 to finish 15
th.

In the men's mile,
Joelsen Resimo hit a three second PR with his PSAC qualifying time of 4:18.26 to finish seventh.

Quashaun Jaquay Willis and
Ben Drexler each ran PRs and hit conference times in the men's 800m. Willis finished 10
th at 1:57.07 while Drexler was 14
th at 1:57.45.

In the pole vault,
Charlsie Bowen and Katy Haywood each matched their personal bests. Bowen went 3.45 meters to finish third and was just shy of an NCAA provisional mark while Haywood hit 3.15 meters to take 11
th overall.

Mountaineer track and field is back in action next weekend at Boston's Valentine Invitational.
