EDINBORO – Mansfield's
Quashaun Jaquay Willis stunned the men's 800-meter field to win the PSAC title on the final day of the PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Willis, who entered the race seeded 13
th overall, won the 800m with a personal best time of 1:55.95. The senior bettered his previous PR of 1:57.07 and registered the fourth fastest 800m time in school history.

Willis is the first Mountaineer to win the 800m since Mike Robinson took first in the event at the 2014 conference championships.

Ben Drexler finished eighth in the 800m with a PR of 1:57.11 to earn a team point. Drexler was seeded 16
th prior to the race.
Joelsen Resimo finished 25
th overall in the event.

Allison Macon was just shy of hitting All-PSAC in the women's 800m with her time of 2:17.97. In an incredibly close finish, Macon was just one hundreth of a second behind the third place finisher.
Macon took fifth in the mile with a personal best time of 5:05.46 earning four team points. The senior's time marks the third fastest in school history. Resimo finished seventh in the men's mile with a time of 4:26.02 to claim two team points for Mansfield.

Kyle Blose took seventh in the shot put with a personal best attempt of 15.07 meters. The throw, which ranks second on the MU all-time list, came during Blose's third and final attempt.

Rachel Hohenwarter finished 19
th in the women's shot put with her best attempt of 10.82 meters.

The men's team finished 10
th overall with 20 team points while the women were 13
th with 17 team points.
