ITHACA, N.Y. –
Allison Macon set a new Mansfield University record in the 800-meter run and posted the second fastest time in the PSAC to lead the Mountaineers at Cornell's Deneault Invitational on Saturday.

Macon hit a time of 2:17.8 in the 800m to break Nicole Dann's school record of 2:18.6 set back in 2007. The senior's time is second in the conference behind only California's Summer Hill at 2:15.31 and was just shy of an NCAA provisional mark. Macon finished second overall in the race.

Allison McCurry hit a PSAC time in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:01.24 to finish third.
Kelly Snyder and
Sara Cavanagh hit personal bests in the 5,000m at 20:07.81 and 20:20.10 respectively.

Savannah Buckley ran a personal best time of 8.05 in the 60-meter dash to better her PSAC qualifying time and finish seventh overall. Buckley also hit a season-best time of 26.77 to improve her PSAC qualifying time in the 200-meter dash.

Nicholas Auchenbach hit a personal best in the 300-meter dash at 36.45 to record the second fastest time in program history.

Charlsie Bowen took third in the pole vault with her top height of 3.60 meters.

Parrish Bridges (9:14.86),
Bailey Lutz (9:24.72) and
Garrett Butters (9:29.16) all hit personal bests in the 3,000-meter run.
Molly Balliet recorded a PR in the women's 3K at 11:48.82.

Ayla Rohl ran a personal best in the mile at 6:25.78.

Rachel Hohenwarter hit an all-time PR in the shot put with her best mark of 11.48 meters.

Mansfield travels to Edinboro next weekend for the PSAC Indoor Championships.
