Kyle Blose's huge PR in the weight throw led Mountaineer track & field at Cornell's Sunday Invitational.
Â
Blose hit a massive personal best in the weight throw with a PSAC heave of 14.41 meters to place third. The sophomore bested his PR by over 1.6 meters and registered the second-best distance in program history.

Rachel Hohenwarter qualified for PSACs in the shot put with her best attempt of 11.22 meters.

Melanie Hartley hit a PSAC time and finished second in the 400-meter dash at 1:01.32. Nicolas Auchenbach was third in the men's 400m and bettered his PSAC mark with a PR of 51.09 to place third.

In the 60-meter dash,
Jenny Bellefleur was just three hundredths of a second shy of a PSAC time at 8.18 to finish third. Bellefleur hit a PSAC time in the 200-meter dash at 26.92 to place fifth.

Melanie Hilliard and
Allison McCurry ran personal bests in the mile run with times of 5:27.43 and 5:29.64 respectively. Hilliard was two tenths of a second off a PSAC time.

Ben Drexler ran a personal best and finished second in the 1,000-meter run with his time 2:37.28.
Molly Balliet,
Nicole Mackey,
Sarah Morin and
Ayla Rohl all ran personal bests in the 1,000m.

Mountaineer track & field returns to Cornell next weekend for the Deneault Invitational.
