Katie Jamison notched the first goal of her career, but it wouldn't be enough as Mercyhurst scored four times to earn the 4-1 PSAC victory.

Mercyhurst (1-10, 1-4 PSAC) drew first blood in the eighth minute when Alex Albright scored an unassisted goal. The lead was short-lived however as
Christie Buyer gathered her own deflected shot and passed the ball over to Jamison who finished in the right side of the cage to tie the game in the 13
th minute.

In the second half, Mercyhurst broke the tie in the 46
th minute on Bryna Cook's goal and added two more scores in the 60
th and 69
th minute. The final two goals were scored by Katie Lechner.

The Mountaineers totaled 13 shots with five on goal while recording nine penalty corners.

All three of Buyer's shots went on goal.
