Mounties Host Bloom Under the Lights Wednesday

MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University women's soccer team will host Bloomsburg under the lights of Karl Van Norman Field Wednesday evening starting at 7 p.m.

Kurt Lowe of ESPN Radio Williamsport will broadcast the game live with streaming available at GoMounties.com.

Mansfield is coming off its best performance of the season with a 3-0 win at Clarion on Saturday. Sophomore sensation Delaney Meadows scored the Mountaineers first two goals of the game while freshman Eleni Gebbia scored her first collegiate goal in the second half.

The goals were the 17th in Meadows career tying her for second on the all-time career list.

Sophomore goalie posted the sixth shutout of her young career turning away six shots.

Mansfield will be looking for a little revenge in the game. The Mountaineers have dropped four of their last five games to Bloomsburg by a score 1-0 score.

Bloomsburg is 4-4-2 overall after dropping its lasts two games by a goal to Shippensburg and Slippery Rock. It marks just the fourth away game for the Huskies so far this season.

Allie Barber and Megan Callan lead the team with a pair of goals each.

Mansfield host Gannon this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Soccer Field.
