HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Mountaineer track & field competed at the Houghton Invitational on Friday night.

Sophomore
Charlsie Bowen hit a PSAC mark and was just shy of an NCAA provisional height in the pole vault, topping the field at 3.45 meters. The height matched an indoor PR for Bowen. Freshman Katy Haywood was fifth in the pole vault with a PSAC qualifying height of 3.15 meters.

Joelsen Resimo finished fourth overall in the 3,000-meter run with a personal best and PSAC-qualifying time of 8:55.7.

Rachel Hohenwarter was just shy of a PSAC mark in the shot put with her throw of 10.99 meters to finish eighth in the field. Hohenwarter was 10
th in the weight throw with a heave of 11.18 meters.

Kyle Blose was also just shy of a PSAC mark in the shot put with a throw of 13.57 meters in a fourth-place effort.
Â
Jenny Bellefleur was fifth in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes finishing with times of 8.20 and 27.37 respectively.
Savannah Buckley was seventh in the 60m at 8.31.

Allison Macon won the 600-meter run with a time of 1:40.13.
Quashaun Jaquay Willis and
Ben Drexler crossed the line together to finish second and third in the men's 600m. Willis clocked in at 1:25.59 and Drexler 1:25.67.

Melanie Hartley was fourth in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:02.5.

The Mountaineer women's 4x400-meter team of Bellefleur, Hartley, Buckley and Macon were fourth overall at 4:27.18. The men's 4x400m team of
Nicholas Auchenbach,
Jordan Boothe, Drexler and Willis also finished fourth with their time of 3:34.96.

Mansfield travels to Cornell for the Kane Invitational on Jan. 30.
