EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Â
Josh Tupper and
Kelsey Carlsen each turned in top eight performances on Saturday for the final day of the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Tupper, who hit a personal best time in the preliminary round on Friday, finished 6
th overall in the 400-meter dash finals with his time of 49.40. The freshman was just shy of his personal best time of 49.39 set in prelims.

Carlsen finished eighth overall in the javelin throw with her best attempt of 39.71 meters. Carlsen's top throw came during her second attempt of the preliminary round.

Sophomore
Destiny Foster finished 10
th overall in the 1,500 meter run with her time of 4:49.76.

The Mountaineer 4x400 meter team of Tupper,
Grant Nolan,
Jake Portock and
Jordan Boothe finished second in their heat and 10
th overall with a time of 3:27.22.

The Mansfield men finished 14
th overall in the team standings with the women finishing 15
th.
Â
Several Mountaineers will have an opportunity to qualify for the NCAA and ECAC meets at Oneonta's Last Chance Invitational next Saturday.
