FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountaineer Track & Field Wraps Up Bison Classic
 
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Mountaineer track & field wrapped up the weekend with the second day of Bucknell's Bison Classic on Sunday.
 
Leading the way for Mansfield was freshman Josh Tupper who hit a PSAC qualifying time in the 400-meter run at 49.82. The time was good for a finish of 22^nd overall.
 
Melanie Hartley's time of 1:00.39 in the women's 400m hit a personal best to finish 36^th.
 
Allison Macon registered a PR in the 800-meter run with a 2:19.74 to finish 41^st. In the men's 800m, Jake Portock finished 101^st at 2:00.11.
 
Freshman Charlsie Bowen finished 13^th in the pole vault with her height of 3.42 meters.
 
Mansfield is back in action when it hosts the Mountaineer Invitational at Maxson Track on Saturday.
