Becky Evans scored a career and game-high 18 points, but Mansfield came up short in a 69-54 loss to East Stroudsburg Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.

Alyssa DeRichie was honored in a pregame ceremony as part of the Mountaineer's Senior Day.

East Stroudsburg (11-14, 10-11 PSAC) took an early lead over the first four minutes of the game at 8-2, but Mansfield (3-22, 2-19 PSAC) stormed back to take a 14-13 lead on the first of three straight 3-pointers for Evans. It was raining threes for the Mounties who jumped out to a 29-21 lead with 4:29 to play in the half.

East Stroudsburg slowly worked its deficit down to go into halftime with a 34-34 tie.

The Warriors went on to outscore Mansfield 35-20 in the second half to come away with the PSAC East victory.

Evans hit 4-of-5 treys in the game and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. The freshman also collected three rebounds and two steals.

DeRichie scored nine points and grabbed seven boards in her final appearance at Decker Gymnasium.
Tianna Jackson also added nine points.
Katie Fitzpatrick added seven points.

Jessica Martin recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Allison Howard added 10 points.

Mansfield travels to West Chester on Wednesday for its final game of the season.
