Katie Fitzpatrick and
Brielle Kelly combined for 32 points, but Shippensburg used a big second half to come away with a 77-56 PSAC East win Wednesday night at First Citizens Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium.

Fitzpatrick connected on 7-11 field goals to score a game-high 17 points while also collecting six boards, five assists and two steals. Kelly hit four shots and was 7-8 from the charity stripe to total 15 points. Kelly and
Tianna Jackson each pulled down a game-high seven boards.
Melanie Taylor added eight points for Mansfield.

Logan Snyder led five Lady Raiders in double-figure scoring with her 15 points. Colleen Young added 14 points.

The Mountaineers were stymied by 24 turnovers compared to Shippensburg's 13. Mansfield outrebounded its opponent 36-27.

Mansfield took an early lead, but Shippensburg went ahead and built a seven-point advantage with less than four minutes to play in the quarter. Mansfield trailed 17-12 at the end of the quarter.

Shippensburg built its lead up to eight points twice in the second quarter, but a field goal by Taylor and a pair of
Jessica Crawley jumpers brought the deficit down to just two points. The Raiders clung to their two-point lead at the half 29-27.

Shippensburg used a big third quarter, outscoring the Mounties 29-14 to jump out to a big lead. The Raider continued to build on their lead in the fourth to earn the road victory.

Mansfield travels to Bloomsburg on Saturday.
