MANSFIELD, Pa. – Mansfield turned in two first place finishes in the relay events, but Lock Haven would prove to be too much as they defeated the Mountaineers 110-79.

The 200 medley relay team of
Hilary Feudale,
Connie Medura,
Amanda Ernst and
Alexis Cable started off the meet with a first place finish in 2:01.39, edging Lock Haven by just under a second. The 200 freestyle relay team of
Candace Brown,
Marissa Gilbert,
Kelly Raleigh and
Abigail Zdancewicz also turned in a first place with a time of 2:12.28.

Medura swam the best individually for the Mountaineers with first and second place finishes. The sophomore won the 100 breaststroke with a 1:13.99. Finishing in second place was Gilbert with a 1:44.44 in the freshman's Mountaineer debut. Medura swam her way to second place in the 200 IM with a 2:30.26.

After missing the first half of the season due to injury, Brown swam to two second place finishes. The freshman finished the 200 freestyle in 2:12.85 and the 500 freestyle in 6:05.90.

In the always exciting 50 freestyle, Cable finished in second place with a 27.88, just .34 seconds behind Lock Haven's Kali Hartt. Feudale finished closely behind Cable in third place with a 28.19.

Ernst brought in a second place finish for the Mounties in the 100 freestyle with a 1:04.33.

Senior
Lauren Dorosh provided points for Mansfield in the 1000 freestyle, 200 IM and 500 freestyle.

Mansfield moves to 3-5 on the season.

The Mountaineers are set to take on Wells College and Pitt-Bradford tomorrow at 1 p.m.
