FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mounties Wrap Up Day Two at PSACs
YORK, Pa. – Mansfield swimming took to the pool to compete in day two of the PSAC Championship Meet.
Freshman
Amanda Ernst took part in the preliminaries of the 100 butterfly. Ernst's 1:02.07 finish was just enough to edge Clarion's Summer Dacheux as the freshman missed Jen Market's 16-year-old school record by a mere .78 seconds.
The 200 freestyle relay team of
Candace Brown,
Abigail Zdancewicz,
Alexis Cable and Ernst just missed setting a new school record by 1.45 seconds with a 1:44.25 finish.
Mansfield takes to the pool again tomorrow for day three of the PSAC meet. Zdancewicz, Ernst,
Hilary Feudale and
Connie Medura are all set to compete individually starting at 10 a.m.
