SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Mansfield's
Mike Robinson used an incredible kick over the final 200 meters to distance himself from the pack and win the men's 1,500m run on the final day of the 2014 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.
Robinson entered the field with the third fastest time in the event, but came out on top with a time of 3:59.67 to win the men's 1,500 championship. The senior's two fastest laps of the race came during the first and fourth laps. Robinson started the race with a 51.42 in the opening lap and closed with a 55.59 to secure the win. The second through fourth place runners all finished within a second behind Robinson in what proved to be a very close race. (

Michaela Lambert turned in a pir of All-PSAC finishes in the 200m and 400m dash finals on Saturday. Lambert finished third in the 400m dash with an NCAA provisional time of 55.73. The freshman was just a half second behind the winner at 55.17. Lambert placed fourth in the 200m dash with a time of 25.61. Lambert was the top freshman finisher in both the 200m and 400m races. (

Kelsey Calsen placed fourth in the javelin with an NCAA provisional throw of 131-05. Carlsen's top throw came during her second of six attempts.
Lauren Norton finsihed sixth in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:43.76 followed by
Kristy Scordino in eighth with a time of 4:45.69. (

Alexa Tsiknas' height of 10-10.75 was good for a 10
th place finish in the women's pole vault competition. Tsiknas cleared 10-10.75 in her first attempt, but couldn't get over the next height.
The Mansfield women's 4x400m relay team of Lambert, Tsiknas,
Megan Becker and
Melanie Hartley finished 10th overall with a time of 4:01.7. (

Ben Drexler,
Bob McCoy and
Jake Portock finished ninth at 3:25.00. (

The Mountaineer men finsihed 11
th overall as a team with 14 points while the women finished 13
th with 20 team points. Shippensburg swept on their home turf winning both the men's and women's championships.
