FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Seven Mountaineers Compete at Historic Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – Seven Mountaineer track and field athletes competed at the historic Penn Relays at Franklin Field on Thursday night.

The women's 4x400m team of Michaela Lambert, Destiny Parks, Megan Becker and Melanie Hartley got the night started for Mansfield with a sixth place finish in their division. The team finished at 4:03.09 with Lambert turning in the best split at 57.51.

In the women's 5,000m run, Lauren Norton and Kristy Scordino finished 26^th and 27^th respectively in a mostly Division I field. Norton finished at 17:42.85 with Scordino turning in a time of 17:47.51.

Mike Robinson competed in the men's Olympic Development 5,000m run where he finished 32^nd overall with a time of 15:08.40.

Kelsey Carlsen is slated to throw in the women's javelin competition on Friday.
