FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Track & Field Competes at ESU All-American Invitational

EAST STROUDSBURG – Kelsey Carlsen hit an NCAA Provisional mark in the javelin and Mike Robinson and Joelsen Resimo each won their events to lead Mansfield track & field at East Stroudsburg's All-American Invitational on Saturday.

Jenna Hoefer's throw of 143-00 in the hammer set a new school record, besting the previous record of 136-05 set back in 2012. Hoefer's mark hit a PSAC mark and was good for a sixth place finish.

Carlsen turned in a top throw of 134-05 to finish second overall in the women's javelin competition.

Robinson won the 800m run with a PSAC mark of 1:54.37.

Resimo took first in the 3,000m run with his finish of 9:06.83. Resimo won the event by over three seconds.

Ben Drexler took third in the 3,000m with a time of 9:12.09.

Alexa Tsiknas hit a PSAC qualifying mark in the pole vault with a final height of 10-11.75. Tsiknas tied for third overall in the competition.

The men's 4x400m team of Bob McCoy, Max Lalwani, Dillon Griffith and Jordan Boothe finished third overall with a time of 3:28.88.

Next up for the Mountaineers is the historic Penn Relays beginning on Thursday.
