FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Robinson Sets PSAC Record in 600m; Lambert Hits School Record in 300m

ITHACA, N.Y. – Mike Robinson set his third PSAC record of the season in the 600m run and Michaela Lambert hit her second Mansfield indoor record to highlight the Mountaineer's day at Cornell's Deneault Invitational on Saturday.

Robinson won the 600m run with a record time of 1:20.98, nearly two seconds faster than the next finisher. The senior broke the school record time of 1:24.2 held by Casey Ayelsworth since 2010. Robinson currently holds PSAC records in the 600m, 1,000m and mile and five school indoor records.

Lambert set an MU indoor record in the 300m dash with a winning time of 40.93. Her time bettered Olivia Lopes' record of 41.72 set in 2012. Lambert also holds the Mansfield indoor 400m record.

Kristy Scordino finished third in the mile with a PSAC time of 5:09.91. Teammate Lauren Norton took seventh at 5:14.07.

Up next for the Mountaineers are the PSAC Championships set for next weekend at Bucknell's Gerhard Fieldhouse.
