MANSFIELD – Tess Pucello came off the bench to score 23 points and lead Le Moyne past Mansfield 82-58 Tuesday night in non-conference action at First Citizen's Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium.

Le Moyne (4-1, 1-1 NE-10) scored the first two points of the game, but the Mountaineers held tight, trailing by one point at 9-8 with just over 12 minutes to play in the half. A 9-1 run gave the Dolphins an eight-point lead at the 9:47 mark.

Mansfield (1-3, 0-2 PSAC East) was still within eight points with 5:26 to play, but Le Moyne closed out the half with 13 unanswered points to carry a 44-23 lead into the break.

In the second half, Le Moyne built up to its largest lead of the night at 29 points with just over thirteen minutes to play in the game. Mansfield continued to chip away at the lead until a three pointer by
Stephanie Davis and lay-up by
Becky Evans brought the Mounties within 17 with three minutes remaining in the game.

The lead was too great as the Dolphins went on to win their fourth game of the season.

Maria Kelleher came off the bench to score a team-high 11 points for the Mountaineers. Evans and
Tianna Jackson added nine points each.

Pucello connected on 9-of-11 from the field, including 4-of-5 from 3-point, to pace Le Moyne. Alex Marple recorded 16 points and four steals while Vandell Andrade had a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.

Mansfield hits the road on Saturday to face Lake Erie college in another non-conference game.
