Kayla Grunza scored her first of the season, but No. 7 East Stroudsburg was too much for Mansfield, coming away with a 6-1 victory Tuesday afternoon at Karl Van Norman Field.

It was all East Stroudsburg in the first half as the Warriors put two shots into goal in the first five minutes. PSAC leading scorer Ally Roth notched her 14
th goal of the season in the second minute before Jessica Lawville scored her 10
th of the season in the fourth minute.

Desiraye Mack added another in the 12
th minute before Roth scored her second of the game in the 20
th minute to extend the Warriors' lead to 4-0.

Mansfield stepped up in the second half, controlling the ball to push into Warrior territory. In the 42
nd minute, Grunza played an
Emily Willard penalty corner pass into goal with a hard shot from the top of the circle. It was the first goal and first assist of the season for the duo.

ESU added two more goals with Robin Stevenson and Samantha Hosford each finding the back of the cage.

Mansfield was held to just two shots in the first half, but came alive to total nine shots in the second half with eight going on goal. ESU recorded 37 total shots in the game.

Grunza totaled five shots in the game with four on goal.
Lacey Croasdale put two shots on goal.

Mansfield is back in action on Saturday when it hosts defending national champion Shippensburg for the Mountaineers' annual Cancer Awareness Game.
