FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountaineer Men Take 12
th at NCAA Atlantic Regional
LOCK HAVEN –
Jesse Jones led the Mansfield men's cross country team to a 12
th place finish at the 2013 NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by Lock Haven on Saturday afternoon.
Lock Haven's Alex Monroe finished first overall with a time of 29:31.3 to lead the Bald Eagles to the Atlantic Region team championship.
Jones was 49
th overall in the field with his time of 32:43.1 to pace the Mountaineers.
Senior
Mike Robinson finished with a time of 33:25.6 which was good for a 71
st place finish.
A pack of Mountie runners in Joelsen Reismo,
Ben Drexler and
Will Mullen followed Robinson for 75
th, 76
th, and 77
th, place finishes respectively. Resimo turned in a time of 33:31.2 with Drexler and Mullen finishing steps behind.
Jake Portock finished 93
rd at 34:27.4 to round out the men's team.
