Norton Finishes Fourth at Hamilton Invite

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Norton Finishes Fourth at Hamilton Invite

HAMILTON, N.Y. – Lauren Norton finished fourth overall to lead the No. 25 ranked Mountaineer women's cross country team to a fifth place finish at the Hamilton College Invitational Saturday.

Norton turned in a 5K time of 18:05.1 in her first official race as a Mountaineer. Lauren Orosz was 18th with a time of 19:17 with Melissa Cruz finishing 30th at 19:43.

Susan Learn was 37th at 20:00 and Alexandria Gallagher finished 47th with a time of 20:44.1 to round out Mansfield's top five runners on the day.

The Mountaineers are back in action for Penn State's National Invitational on Friday, Oct. 18.
