ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior
Alexa Tsiknas and junior Tyler Saverese each hit Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks in the pole vault to highlight the Cornell Relays for the Mansfield University track and field team Saturday afternoon.
“I'm truly excited about the way we performed in our opening meet of the year,” said head women's coach Nadine Faustin-Parker. “Two PSAC qualifiers, a school record and a couple of personal best means we're off to a great start.”

Olivia Lopes broke the school record in the 300m with her time of 41.72. The sophomore bested the previous record of 42.22, which she set last season at Cornell.
The Mountaineers are back in action on Saturday, Dec. 8 when they travel to the Golden Flash Gala hosted by Kent State and the Ithaca Quad meet hosted by Cornell.
