WEST CHESTER – Senior
Danielle Hackenberg scored her fifth goal of the season, but Mansfield couldn't hang with West Chester, dropping a 10-1 decision in a PSAC crossover game on the road.
The Mountaineers found themselves trailing 5-0 to the Golden Rams until Hackenberg cut the lead scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Hackenberg's fifth goal of the season came via a Jessi Wolski penalty corner.
West Chester added five more goals to increase their lead. Mansfield couldn't answer the former Division I squad and fell with a final score of 10-1.
All three Mountaineer keepers saw action in the game with Jamie twist recording 12 saves.
Junior
Kristy Tutorow kept the heat on the Ram's goalie, putting three shots on goal throughout the game.
West Chester's Kayla Gluchowski recorded a game-high four goals on the day.
Mansfield completes the back-end of their PSAC crossover road trip when they travel to Kutztown Univesity Oct. 1. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
