LOCK HAVEN --   Kristyn Grunza and Lacey Croasdale each scored a goal but it wouldn't be nearly enough as Mansfield dropped a 7-2 decision to Mercyhurst Wednesday evening.

Grunza tied the game at 1-1 after putting back a rebounded sot off the goalies pad in the 17th minute and Croasdale blasted a nine-yard shot through the defense to tie the game at 2-2 eight minutes later.

But Mercyhurst took a 3-2 lead into halftime on Katie Erbacher's second goal of the game late in the first half and added four unanswered goals in the second half to pull off the PSAC West win.

Mercyhurst (5-7, 3-3 PSAC West) enjoyed a slight 14-11 shot advantage and held a 9-8 edge in penalty corners.

The win vaulted Merchyhurst into third place in the PSAC West while Mansfield (3-8, 1-4 PSAC West) fell to fifth place in the PSAC West.

Mansfield travels to IUP on Saturday.
