MANSFIELD - The Mansfield University women's soccer team (1-1-0) will face off against PSAC opponent Gannon University (1-0-1) today at the soccer field on Mansfield's campus. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00pm.

Gannon, who is ranked #6 in the NSCAA Atlantic regional rankings, finished in a 0-0 tie against West Virginian Wesleyan this past Monday. In their first contest, Junior Amanda Sharbaugh scored a hat-trick to lead the Golden Knights in a 3-0 victory over Davis & Elkins College.

The Mounties come into today's game with a 1-1-0 record after dropping a heartbreaker to Shepherd University Wednesday. Sophomore Erika Moyer leads the team in goals scored with 3, while Junior Kaitlyn McBride leads the Mounties in assists with 2. Goalkeeper Alexis Wilhelm has played every minute in net for Mansfield, combining for 11 saves as well as a shutout.

The MU women's soccer squad will face another PSAC opponent this Saturday at home against Mercyhurst College at 1:30 pm.
