Mansfield Athletics

Owen Newkam-Ulrich was hired as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications & Marketing/Multimedia Production in August of 2023.

Newkam-Ulrich spent the previous years (2021-23) as a graduate assistant at Lock Haven, working in athletic communications and marketing office, all while working toward a master's degree in sports management.
 
During his time at Lock Haven, Newkam-Ulrich played a pivotal role in augmenting video streaming and broadcasting initiatives while developing new video features and highlight packages.

Also managing the PSAC Network and overseeing extensive creative service projects, Newkam-Ulrich also played a huge role in augmenting graphic design during his at time at Lock Haven and helped the Bald Eagles implement BoxOut Sports, a graphic design platform that is an industry leader.
 
The 2021 Mansfield graduate was awarded the Steve McCloskey Service Award for his many contributions to the Mansfield Athletic Department during his time as a student.
