Bryce Zaparzynski

Zaparzynski was named Assistant Athletic Trainer during the spring of 2023.
  
A dedicated athletic training professional, Zaparzynski joins the Mounties from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Williamsport, where he served as the Outreach Athletic Trainer (ATC) at Jersey Shore High School, Canton High School, and was the Physician Extender in Divine Providence Orthopedic Clinic.
 
Zaparzynski graduated from Mansfield University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology – Environmental Geosciences.
 
A four-year member of the Mountaineer baseball team, the Mansfield Pa. native was named a team captain as a senior. Honored as a 2020 Spring Athlete of the Year, Zaparzynski threw 120 innings in his career, recording a 5.33 ERA with in 35 appearances, while striking out 91 hitters.
 
During his final three years at Mansfield, Zaparzynski worked as an Exercise Technician at Elite Therapy (Mansfield, Pa.), aiding and supervising patients during therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation.
 
Following his collegiate career at MU, Zaparzynski earned his Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University in 2022. During his time at ESU, he spent two years with Delaware University and Muhlenberg College, working with football, boys and girls soccer and lacrosse, baseball, softball, and field hockey.
 
This past fall, Zaparzynski worked with the Mountaineer Athletic Training staff at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Cross Country Championships, hosted by Mansfield University.
 
Bryce's mother Laurie Zaparzynski spent 29 years at Mansfield as the Head Athletic Trainer, before retiring during the spring of 2021.
