Steph Cadwell

Head coach Steph Cadwell rejoined the Mountaineer track and field program in 2013 after serving as head women's track & field coach from 2007 to 2011. Cadwell will be responsible for coaching the 100-800m, jumping and combined events for men and women.

In between her stints at Mansfield, Cadwell was a graduate admissions representative at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tenn.

After earning her undergraduate degree in travel and tourism from Mansfield, Cadwell served as an assistant track and field coach for a year and a half before being appointed the interim head coach of the women's program in January of 2007. Cadwell had the interim title removed in August of 2007 and assumed the position of women's track & field head coach.

During the summer of 2010, Cadwell completed an internship with Mansfield's NCAA Compliance Office in order to fulfill the requirements for her masters of sport management from California University of Pennsylvania.

While at Mansfield, Cadwell was a member of the track & field and cross country teams where she served as team captain for both sports. She was named Mansfield University Winter Female Athlete of the Year in 2004.

Cadwell was a nationally recognized athlete as an undergraduate, finishing 3rd in the long jump at the NJCAA National Championship in the Heptathlon and earning All-American honors in 2001. She was an NCAA Division II National Qualifier in the distance medley relay at Mansfield in 2004.

Cadwell holds United States Track and Field Level II certification in jumps, combined events and sprints, hurdles and relays.
