Scott Austin joined the Mountaineer women’s soccer program during the 2017 season.
Austin holds a NSCAA National Coaching Diploma and USSF National D license, and is in his 20th year of head coaching at the club or high school level.
Austin has numerous league and tournament championships at the Club level. He led the Dallastown Area High School (Wildcats) to the York-Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) League Champions in 2014. The Wildcats won the YAIAA County Championship in 2015 and the YAIAA League Championship in 2016.
Austin was awarded Coach of the Year by GameTimePA.com in 2015. His Wildcats were committed to defense and shutout its first 10 YAIAA opponents in league play.
He has held many leadership positions over the years including Dallastown Soccer Club President and VP, Dallastown Area High School Booster Club VP, and Pennsylvania Soccer Academy VP of Girls. Austin is a PIAA and FIAA soccer referee.
Austin also served four years of active duty in the United States Army. He holds a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in management and marketing.
Scott and his wife Shawn Austin have three children: Spencer, Sierra (a current member of the Mansfield University women’s soccer team) and Sophia.
