Mott Gaymon will assume the responsibilities of co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach this season after overseeing the defensive secondary in 2011. Gaymon has been a player-coach in Europe for the past four years, most recently serving as the defensive coordinator for the Wroclaw Giants in Poland this past spring. He was defensive coordinator and played in the secondary for the 2010 Polish National Champion Wroclaw Devils. Gaymon also played and coached for Caimans Le Mans in France. A graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College,
Gaymon played football for four seasons at his alma mater serving as captain during his senior campaign. He earned All-WVIAC honors in 2006 and was the recipient of the Earle “Greasy” Neale Award at WVWC as the most inspirational player. He played for the Baltimore Mariners of the American Indoor Football Association in 2008.
