Pearson enters his second season with the Mountaineers moving from the defensive side of the ball last year to offensive this season where he will serve as the assistant head coach and passing game coordinator while also overseeing the wide receivers. Pearson has extensive high school and collegiate experience serving as the head coach at Yucca Valley (CA) and South Williamsport High Schools.

Pearson, a graduate of Lycoming College, was a member of the 1990 Warrior team that played in the NCAA Division III National Championship game. He was an assistant at Lycoming for seven years prior to taking the head coach position at South Williamsport.
