The Mansfield sprint football career receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns leader, Kurt Logan, enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Mountaineers where he will be responsible for the wide receivers.

Logan hauled in a program record 100 receptions for 1,178 yards and 10 touchdowns over his four seasons with the Mounties from 2013 to 2016. Logan also holds records for most receptions (11) and yards (158) in a game against Army in 2014 along with most receptions (42 in 2014), yards (587 in 2014), and touchdowns (7 in 2014) in a season. He is one of just three receivers in program history to record three receiving touchdowns in a game, accomplishing the feat against Army in 2014. Logan also has the second longest reception in program history with a 75-yard haul against Franklin Pierce in 2014.

Logan is a three-time All-CSFL selection earning first team honors in 2014 and 2016 to go with a second team nod in 2013.

Logan graduated from Mansfield University with a degree in business administration in 2017.
