Rejoins the staff this season where he will serve as the defensive head coach and also be responsible for the defensive line corps. Hussey, who was the defensive line coach for the Mountaineers in 2010, brings more than 30 years of coaching experience to the position.
The Canada native spent five years coaching professional football in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Toronto Argonauts and Ottawa Rough Riders. Hussey also coached linebackers and special teams for the New Jersey Generals of the USFL for two seasons. He spent 10 seasons serving as the defensive coordinator at the collegiate level including stints at the University of Toronto, York University, the University of Guelph and Waterloo University in the CIS as well as coaching defensive backs at Colgate University.
A graduate of the University of Toronto, Hussey was a three-time All-Conference selection on the defensive line for his alma mater in the mid-1970s.
