Delgardo '22 was named sprint football assistant coach during the fall of 2022.
A five-year member of the Mountaineer sprint football program, Delgardo joins the staff as a linebacker coach.
The Washingtonville, N.Y. native played in a career-high six games as a sophomore in 2018, where he finished the season with tackles in multiple games. Despite battling injuries for the remainder of his career, Delgardo remained a key component to the program as both a mentor and leader.
As a student, Delgardo earned the Scott Pioli and English award and the 12th annual showcase of student scholarship.
Delgardo graduated from Mansfield with a bachelor of science degree in sports nutrition in May, 2022. Delgardo completed an internship with the MU Strength & Conditioning Head Coach in 2021-22.
