Joe Bucek enters his first season as an assistant coach at his alma mater after ending his playing career as one of the all-time great receivers in Mansfield University sprint football history.
A three-time 1st Team All-CSFL selection, Bucek is the all-time leading receiver in the history of the MU sprint football program with 81 career catches for 998 yards. He caught 20 or more passes in his last three seasons.
A team captain and leader, Bucek was among the top receivers in the CSFL during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
Bucek is a 2016 graduate of Mansfield University with BA in criminal justice.
