NCAA Championship Qualifying Information:
The top three men’s and women’s teams will automatically qualify for the 2022 NCAA Division II Championship meet. The top two individuals who are not part of a qualifying team will automatically advance to the championship. Also, all individuals who finish in the top five at the regional meet, and are not part of a qualifying team automatically will advance to the NCAA championship (the next eight individuals will be selected at-large).
Following the completion of the eight regional meets, 10 at-large team selections will be announced by the NCAA (Nov. 21). Additional individual at-large selections will be announced by the NCAA after the 34 teams in both the men’s and women’s the field are finalized. 2022 NCAA Division II Championships Information:
The 2022 championship finals will be held Friday, Dec. 2 at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, Washington and Seattle Pacific University will serve as host. The men’s 10,000-meter race will be first at 1 p.m. EST., followed by the women’s 6,000-meter race at 2 p.m. EST.
